What the game asks for
Ready for Topside
Arc Raiders is built on Unreal Engine 5, so it rewards a strong all-round PC. Here's where each of our picks puts its money.
- Unreal Engine 5, done properly
Lighting and detail in Unreal Engine 5 lean on the graphics card. Each pick is matched to its resolution.
- Graphics memory for the detail
High textures at 1440p and 4K want plenty of graphics memory, and we size it for each resolution.
- A CPU for busy raids
Machines, other raiders and the world around you all run on the processor. Fast gaming CPUs keep the 1% lows up.
- Fast storage
A fast NVMe SSD keeps loading quick, so you spend more time Topside and less on loading screens.
CPU, GPU and how we test
How Arc Raiders uses your PC
Where the load lands
Lower resolutions push the processor harder. At 4K, the graphics card does most of the work. Here's how Arc Raiders splits it.
Unreal Engine 5 puts most of the work on the graphics card from 1440p up. Spend there first, but don't skimp on the CPU if you play at 1080p.
