Specifications

The GeekaPC Constellation is a compact, dual-chamber gaming PC built for 1440p gaming in 2024 and beyond! This system comes equipped with either the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070, RTX 5070 Ti or AMD's Radeon RX 9070. These cards offer outstanding performance in modern AAA games at 1440p.

The brain of the Constellation GeekaPC build is the AMD Ryzen 7 9700X. This mid-range Ryzen CPU has eight cores, sixteen threads, and a clock speed of 5.5GHz. It's a solid processor across the board and offers stronger efficiency than its predecessor, the Ryzen 7 7700X.

Keeping the Ryzen 7 9700X processor nice and cool is Montech HyperFlow ARGB 360. This is one of the strongest and affordable 360mm liquid coolers on the market, with three 120mm addressable RGB fans facilitating low CPU temperatures (and even some scope for overclocking, should you choose to do so!). All of the fans and the CPU blockhead light up with RGB and can be controlled by pressing the button at the front of the case.

Built inside the Antec Constellation 5 (C5), this build packs plenty of power and great aesthetics in a unique, boxy form factor that is set to look great in any gaming setup. Equipped with a whopping seven ARGB 120mm fans, there's no shortage of airflow or flair inside this case. All the included fans can be controlled using the included internal hub to provide matching RGB lighting, fill out this cube glass-adorned chassis and help with airflow and component temperatures.

This build uses 32GB of Corsair Vengeance DDR5 EXPO memory for RAM, which provides improved speeds and latencies with the AMD-specific EXPO RAM profile. This kit has been colour-matched to the rest of the build and offers excellent performance, clocking in at 6000MHz with a speedy CL30 latency.

The base configuration of this build uses a Crucial P3 Plus 2TB Gen4 SSD. This drive is used in many of our builds and is a favourite due to its reliability and solid speeds. Alternatively, those looking for more storage space can bump the SSD size to 4TB, providing ample room for your games and applications.

Lastly, hiding in the rear chamber of the Constellation build is the Corsair RM750e power supply. Providing 750W of power and equipped with an 80 Plus Gold efficiency rating, this PSU provides more than enough juice for the configuration we've put together.

This build is based directly on a system James recommended on the GeekaWhat YouTube channel, and you can view the full build video below. In the video, James shows how this system is built, the things he likes about the build, and covering the things he doesn't like so much in the build process. We highly recommend watching the video below before buying:

*Note: The GPU model shown in the video and attached photos is the Zotac RTX 4070 SUPER. GeekaPC reserves the right to use any model of RTX 5070 or RX 7800XT as requested, depending on real-time availability.
