GeekaPC 'Panorama' (RX 7800XT / RTX 4070)

This GeekaPC is aimed at those looking for entry-level 1440p gaming, with the choice of either an AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT or NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 graphics card. This build is perfectly tuned for playing the latest AAA titles, and older titles in good measure while looking great in the process.

Built inside of a Black Phanteks NV5 you are treated to a panoramic view of the build, within a well built case that provides solid hardware clearance and compatibility without a huge footprint. The build is equipped with an NZXT 360mm fan unit at the side for intake, and a single 120mm RGB unit at the rear for exhaust.

The choice of a mid-range AMD or NVIDIA GPU makes for great gaming performance, and pairs up nicely with the AMD Ryzen 5 7600 processor, a 6 core, 12 thread chip that is well equipped for gaming at 1080p and 1440p.

CPU (Processor): AMD Ryzen 5 7600

The advantage of AMD's efficient and cool-running Ryzen 5 is that a simple tower air cooler will be perfectly sufficient to keep temperatures under control.

Motherboard: Gigabyte B650 Eagle AX
With strong connectivity, on-board WiFi and AMD EXPO support the B650 Eagle AX remains a firm favourite in our builds.

RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR5 AMD EXPO
Corsair's range of EXPO-supporting RAM dimms provide a great option for builds powered by a TeamRed CPU, with better compatibility, reliability and the right EXPO presents needed for tip-top speeds.

SSD: Crucial P3 Plus
The Crucial P3 Plus is a firm favourite over on the GeekaWhat YouTube channel, with fast Gen4 NVMe speeds and a range of capacitites available.

GPU (Option 1): AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT
The RX 7800 XT holds its own as a fantastic GPU for 1440p gaming. With 16GB of video memory. and great frame rates across the board.

GPU (Option 2): NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070
Buyer's in the market for a NVIDIA GPU for this build should lok no further than the RTX 4070. With great Ray Tracing performance, support for the latest DLSS 3.5 and more - what's not to love!

What is there to say about the Phanteks NV5? It won the GeekaWhat Design award, looks superb and is a great case from a build, compatibility and IO standpoint.

For a build like this, a strong 750(e) unit is perfect when it comes to power. The RM750 from Corsair is one of the best reviewed around.
