The GeekaPC Vision is a gorgeous black system housed inside the Montech XR, allowing you to see all the glorious components inside. At the forefront of the graphical power is none other than NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 5060 Ti. This is a solid mid-range GPU, offering exceptional 1440p performance in your favourite AAA and Esports titles.
Coming well equipped in the CPU department with a six-core, 12-thread AMD Ryzen 5 9600 Processor, the CPU for this build makes a perfect partner for either GPU offering at 1080p or 1440p.
The Cooler Master Hyper 212 Pro is the CPU cooler, ensuring that the AMD Ryzen 5 9600 maintains low temperatures in this build. The air tower cooler features a large heatsink and singular 120mm RGB fan, providing some visual flair but also keeping the Ryzen 5 9600 at bay.
The Montech XR provides a home for all of the awesome parts in this build. This well-rounded budget PC case offers two tempered glass panels on the front and side, providing an unhindered view of your build. This chassis comes with a modern set of IO at the front and three pre-installed RGB fans to maximise airflow and provide a strong aesthetic.
For RAM, this build uses a Corsair Vengeance DDR5 RGB kit, rated at 32GB (2 x 16GB). This memory is incredibly reliable and offers a solid speed and latency. The capacity can also be bumped up to 64GB (2 x 32GB) for those looking to need a bit more power from the RAM.
On the storage front, the Crucial P3 Plus has made a return. This is one of our go-to drive choices due to its reliability and solid speeds. Gamers can choose between 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB capacities for those that need more space.
Lastly, the Corsair RM750e provides all of the power for the Vision GeekaPC. This unit offers 750W of power and has an 80 Plus Gold efficiency rating, ensuring minimal power is lost as additional heat or noise. It's a hardy and reliable power supply, and its wattage is ample for this build.
Like all of the builds on GeekaPC, this system is based directly on a system James recommended on the GeekaWhat YouTube channel. You can view the full build video below. In the video, James shows how this system is built and the things he likes about the build, as well as covering, frankly, the things he doesn't like so much in the build process. We highly recommend watching the video below before buying.
CPU (Processor): AMD Ryzen 5 9600
The AMD Ryzen 5 9600 is a fantastic CPU when it comes to gaming at 1080p and 1440p. The reason we did not opt for the newer Ryzen 5 9600X instead is due to the limited performance upside.
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Pro
As part of the Hyper 212 line-up, the Hyper 212 Pro ensures that the Ryzen 5 9600 in this system stays cool while offering customisable RGB lighting that is synced with all the other parts in this build.
Motherboard: Gigabyte B850 Eagle WiFi6E
With strong connectivity, on-board WiFi and AMD EXPO support the B850 Eagle WiFi6E remains a firm favourite in our builds.
RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR5
Corsair's range of RAM DIMMs provides a great option for builds powered by a TeamRed CPU. They offer better compatibility, reliability, and excellent speeds and latency.
SSD: Crucial P3 Plus
The Crucial P3 Plus is a firm favourite on the GeekaWhat YouTube channel due to its reliability, fast Gen4 NVMe speeds and various capacities available.
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti
The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti is an excellent graphics card for playing your favourite titles at 1440p and 1080p. With the bonus addition of DLSS and Frame Gen, playing your favourite games at high framerates is no issue for this card!
Case: Montech XR
The Montech XR is a modern mid-tower chassis with dual tempered glass windows that provide an unhindered view of your build. It comes with three pre-installed fans and features a modern set of IO.
PSU: Corsair RM750e
For this build, 750W of power is more than enough juice for the component selection. The Corsair RM750e is an efficient, low-noise unit handling this system's power consumption.
Operating System: Windows 11
All of our systems come preinstalled with an activated copy of Windows 11 set to the 'Out of Box Experience'. This allows you to set the PC back up to your liking.
