GeekaPC "Frost" (RX 7800 XT / RTX 4070)

At the icy core of the Frost is the AMD Ryzen 5 9600X processor, a 6-core, 12-thread processor that handles gaming and multitasking with ease. Its impressive single-threaded performance ensures high frame rates and snappy responsiveness, no matter the task.

The Montech HyperFlow 360 ARGB keeps the Ryzen 5 9600X cool. This 360mm liquid cooling unit has a vibrant RGB panel on top of the CPU pump, and the large radiator ensures quiet operation under load. The King 65 Pro provides a home for all the Frost's components. For RAM, the Frost uses a Corsair Vengeance DDR5 RGB White kit, rated at 32GB (2 x 16GB). This memory is incredibly reliable and offers a solid speed and latency. The capacity can also be bumped up to 64GB (2 x 32GB) for those looking to need a bit more power from the RAM.

Regarding storage, the Crucial P3 Plus 1TB has returned. This Gen4 NVMe M.2 SSD is used regularly across many of our mid-range and budget PC builds on the GeekaWhat YouTube channel due to its robust performance and competitive pricing. This build uses 1TB for the base configuration, but there are 2TB and 4TB capacities available for gamers who need more storage space.

Finally, this gaming PC is powered by the Corsair RM750e power supply. It offers 750W of power, which is more than ample for the parts we've chosen. RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR5 White
32GB or 64GB of White Vengeance RGB provides fast speeds, low latency and great capacity for gaming in 2025 and beyond.

SSD: Crucial P3 Plus
For systems with a 1TB or 2TB capacity, we use Crucial's solid, Gen4 NVMe P3 Plus drive. We upgrade this to the quicker Lexar NM790 for those choosing to go with a 4TB capacity.

GPU (Option 1): AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT
If Team Red is your gaming poison, the RX 7800 XT makes for a superb 1440p GPU in this build. With 16GB of video memory and superb performance at 1440p, you really can crank frame rates to the max.

GPU (Option 2): NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070

All of our systems come preinstalled with an activated copy of Windows 11 set to the 'Out of Box Experience'. This allows you to set the PC back up to your liking.
