The GeekaPC Constellation is a compact, dual-chamber gaming PC built for 1440p gaming in 2024 and beyond! This system comes equipped with either the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER (as seen on YouTube) or the AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT, an exceptional alternative available at a slightly lower price point. Both cards offer outstanding performance in modern AAA games at 1440p.

The brain of the Constellation GeekaPC build is the AMD Ryzezn 7 9700X. This mid-range Ryzen CPU has eight cores, sixteen threads, and a clock speed of 5.5GHz. It's a solid processor across the board and offers stronger efficiency than its predecessor, the Ryzen 7 7700X.

Keeping the Ryzen 7 9700X processor nice and cool is Cooler Master's Hyper 622 Halo. This is one of the largest CPU tower air coolers on the market, with dual heatsinks and fans facilitating low CPU temperatures (and even some scope for overclocking, should you choose to do so!). Both fans light up with vibrant RGB, which can be programmed easily within a range of software.

Built inside the Antec Constellation 5 (C5), this build packs plenty of power and great aesthetics in a unique, boxy form factor that is set to look great in any gaming setup. Equipped with a whopping seven ARGB 120mm fans, there's no shortage of airflow or flair inside this case. All the included fans can be controlled using the included internal hub to provide matching RGB lighting, fill out this cube glass-adorned chassis and help with airflow and component temperatures.

This build uses 32GB of Corsair Vengeance DDR5 EXPO memory for RAM, which provides improved speeds and latencies with the AMD-specific EXPO RAM profile. This kit has been colour-matched to the rest of the build and offers excellent performance, clocking in at 6000MHz with a speedy CL30 latency.

The base configuration of this build uses a Crucial P3 Plus 2TB Gen4 SSD. This drive is used in many of our builds and is a favourite due to its reliability and solid speeds. Alternatively, those looking for more storage space can bump the SSD size to 4TB, providing ample room for your games and applications.

Lastly, hiding in the rear chamber of the Constellation build is the Corsair RM750e power supply. Providing 750W of power and equipped with an 80 Plus Gold efficiency rating, this PSU provides more than enough juice for the configuration we've put together.

This build is based directly on a system James recommended on the GeekaWhat YouTube channel, and you can view the full build video below. In the video, James shows how this system is built, the things he likes about the build, and covering the things he doesn't like so much in the build process. We highly recommend watching the video below before buying:

*Note: The GPU model shown in the video and attached photos is the Zotac RTX 4070 SUPER. GeekaPC reserves the right to use any model of RTX 4070 SUPER or RX 7800XT as requested, depending on real-time availability.

CPU (Processor): AMD Ryzen 7 9700X
The Ryzen 7 9700X is an eight-core, sixteen-thread monster offering excellent performance for 1440p gaming and above. When combined with the right graphics card, this CPU is more than capable of handling modern titles.

CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 622 Halo
Cooler Master is a veteran in the CPU cooling space, and this dual-tower Hyper 622 Halo provides more than ample cooling for the Ryzen 7 9700X in this build. The white design and RGB fans also match the lighting and theme we've opted for.

Motherboard: Gigabyte B650 AORUS Elite AX ICE
Gigabyte's B650 AORUS Elite AX ICE is a gorgeous motherboard coated in white all the way to the PCB. Its bountiful rear IO options, which include high-speed USB, 2.5 Gigabit LAN, and WiFi 6E wireless, ensure there are multiple ways to get connected.

RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR5 AMD EXPO
32GB or 64GB of blazing-fast DDR5 RAM is ample for gaming on this PC build.

SSD: Crucial P3 Plus
The Crucial P3 Plus is a firm favourite on the GeekaWhat YouTube channel due to its reliability, fast Gen4 NVMe speeds and various capacities available.

GPU (Option 1): NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER
NVIDIA's RTX 4070 SUPER is an excellent graphics card for 1440p gaming. It offers solid framerates across many titles, which can be further bolstered in DLSS-supported games.

GPU (Option 2): AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT
The Radeon RX 7800 XT is a solid GPU for 1440p gaming, providing high framerates. With 16GB of video memory, this card can hold its own.

Case: Antec C5 Constellation
The Antec C5 is a gorgeous dual-chamber case that offers an unrestricted view of all the components inside. It comes equipped with plenty of RGB lighting and a whopping seven fans!

PSU: Corsair RM750(e)
For this build, 750W of power is more than enough juice for the component selection. The Corsair RM750(e) is an efficient, low-noise unit handling this system's power consumption.

Operating System: Windows 11
All of our systems come preinstalled with an activated copy of Windows 11 set to the 'Out of Box Experience'. This allows you to set the PC back up to your liking.
