GeekaPC 'Frost' (RX 9070 / RTX 5070)

At the icy core of the Frost is the AMD Ryzen 5 9600X processor, a 6-core, 12-thread processor that handles gaming and multitasking with ease. Its impressive single-threaded performance ensures high frame rates and snappy responsiveness, no matter the task.

The Montech HyperFlow 360 ARGB keeps the Ryzen 5 9600X cool. This 360mm liquid cooling unit has a vibrant RGB panel on top of the CPU pump, and the large radiator ensures quiet operation under load. The RGB lighting is also fully programmable, allowing you to change colours and lighting effects across the entire build.

The King 65 Pro provides a home for all the Frost's components. It is the smaller sibling of the extremely popular King 95 Pro, which is a go-to recommendation for those looking to pick up a robust mid-range case. The King 65 Pro has all of the great features and design qualities of the King 95 Pro but in a smaller form factor. It utilises dual tempered glass panels, tool-less mechanisms to quickly release the outer panels, and three pre-installed fans that provide ample airflow straight out of the box.

For RAM, the Frost uses a Corsair Vengeance DDR5 RGB White kit, rated at 32GB (2 x 16GB). This memory is incredibly reliable and offers a solid speed and latency. The capacity can also be bumped up to 64GB (2 x 32GB) for those looking to need a bit more power from the RAM.

Regarding storage, the Crucial P3 Plus 1TB has returned. This Gen4 NVMe M.2 SSD is used regularly across many of our mid-range and budget PC builds on the GeekaWhat YouTube channel due to its robust performance and competitive pricing. This build uses 1TB for the base configuration, but there are 2TB and 4TB capacities available for gamers who need more storage space.

Finally, this gaming PC is powered by the Corsair RM750e power supply. It offers 750W of power, which is more than ample for the parts we've chosen. RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR5 White
32GB or 64GB of White Vengeance RGB provides fast speeds, low latency and great capacity for gaming in 2025 and beyond.

SSD: Crucial P3 Plus
For systems with a 1TB or 2TB capacity, we use Crucial's solid, Gen4 NVMe P3 Plus drive. We upgrade this to the quicker Lexar NM790 for those choosing to go with a 4TB capacity.

GPU (Option 2): NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070
If you're in the market for an NVIDIA graphics card, look no further than the RTX 5070. Using the latest DLSS 4 incombination with Frame Generation, this card offers ample framerates at 1440p and 1080p.

Case: Montech King 65 Pro White

PSU: Corsair RM750e
For this build, 750W of power is more than enough juice for the component selection. The Corsair RM750e is an efficient, low-noise unit handling this system's power consumption.

Operating System: Windows 11
All of our systems come preinstalled with an activated copy of Windows 11 set to the 'Out of Box Experience'. This allows you to set the PC back up to your liking.
