The GeekaPC Prince build is a solid 1440p gaming PC housed inside the Deepcool CG530 chassis. Gamers have the choice between the AMD RX 9060 XT 16GB and an NVIDIA RTX 5060 graphics cards, which are great GPU options capable of providing solid framerates at both 1080p and 1440p.

At the core of this build is the AMD Ryzen 5 7600. This processor is a firm favourite on the GeekaWhat YouTube channel due to its versatility and substantial value. The Ryzen 5 7600 has a low power budget, allowing it to maintain its 5.2GHz boost clock speed, making it a solid competitor in games when paired with the right graphics card.

The UpHere up1KC4 keeps the Ryzen 5 7600 cool. This is a single tower air cooler with a strip of RGB down the middle, and should be ample to keep the Ryzen 5 7600 from throttling.

The Montech King 65 Pro provides a home for all of these components. It is the smaller sibling of the extremely popular King 95 Pro, which is a go-to recommendation for those looking to pick up a robust mid-range case. The King 65 Pro has all of the great features and design qualities of the King 95 Pro but in a smaller form factor. It utilises dual tempered glass panels, tool-less mechanisms to quickly release the outer panels, and three pre-installed fans that provide ample airflow straight out of the box.

For RAM, this build uses a Kingston Fury Beast kit, rated at 32GB (2 x 16GB). This memory is incredibly reliable and offers a solid speed and latency. The capacity can also be bumped up to 64GB (2 x 32GB) for those looking to need a bit more power from the RAM.

Regarding storage, the Lexar NQ790/EQ790 has returned. This build uses 1TB for the base configuration, but there are 2TB and 4TB capacities available for gamers who need more storage space.
Finally, this gaming PC is powered by the MSI A750BN power supply. It offers 750W of power, which is more than ample for the parts we've chosen.
This build has a dedicated video on the GeekaWhat YouTube channel where the host, James Cousins, details the entire step-by-step process. He covers each component's pros (and cons), along with a suite of gaming benchmarks at the end, providing an idea of how this system performs.
*Note: The GPU model shown in the video and attached photos is the Gigabyte RX 9060 XT 16GB Gaming OC. GeekaPC reserves the right to use any model of the RX 9060 XT 16GB or RTX 5060 as selected, depending on real-time availability.
CPU (Processor): AMD Ryzen 5 9600X
The Ryzen 5 9600X is AMD's 6-core, 12-thread Zen 5 CPU, built on a 4nm process for improved efficiency and performance over its predecessor. With a 3.9 GHz base clock and a 5.4 GHz boost clock at just 65W TDP, it delivers excellent gaming and everyday performance without running hot or needing a beefy cooler.

CPU Cooler: Deepcool AG400 BK Tower Cooler
The advantage of AMD's efficient and cool-running Ryzen 5 7600 is that a simple tower air cooler is perfectly sufficient to keep temperatures under control. The Deepcool AG400 BK handles the 65W TDP with ease, delivering reliable, quiet cooling with a clean all-black aesthetic.
Motherboard: Gigabyte B850 Eagle WiFi6E
With strong connectivity, on-board Wi-Fi 6E, and AMD EXPO support, the B850 Eagle WiFi6E remains a firm favourite in our builds. The B850 chipset handles the Ryzen 5 9600X's 65W TDP with ease, and provides everything needed for a capable gaming system without unnecessary cost overhead.
Rear I/O Panel
RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR5 RGB 32GB 6000MHz CL36
A popular DDR5 kit that hits the sweet spot for AMD Ryzen builds — 6000 MT/s is widely regarded as the ideal speed for the AM5 platform and the ten-zone RGB lighting looks great through any windowed case.
SSD: Biwin Black Opal NV7400
The Biwin Black Opal NV7400 is an excellent addition to any system. With sequential read speeds up to 7400 MB/s and write speeds up to 6500 MB/s, it's fast, reliable, and resilient for high-framerate gaming.
GPU (Graphics Card): Choose Your Option
The GeekaPC Prince is available with two GPU options, both of which are well equipped for top-tier performance at 1080p, and the RX 9060 XT variant being particularly well prepared for gaming at 1440p too. This is thanks to its generous 16GB of VRAM allocation.
Case: Deepcool CG530 4F
A full-size ATX panoramic case with a pillarless dual tempered glass design that gives a clean, unobstructed view of your entire build. Four pre-installed ARGB fans, back-connect motherboard support, and 360mm radiator compatibility make it a solid all-round showcase case.
PSU: Corsair RM750e
A well-rounded 750W unit with fully modular cables, 80+ Gold efficiency, and ATX 3.1 with PCIe 5.1 support — plenty of headroom for high-end builds running demanding GPUs.
Operating System: Windows 11
All of our systems come preinstalled with an activated copy of Windows 11 set to the 'Out of Box Experience'. This allows you to set the PC back up to your liking.
