GeekaPC 'Pro' (RX 9070 XT / RTX 5070 Ti / RTX 5080)

The GeekaPC Pro is a gorgeous gaming PC that targets 1440p gaming and has strong legs at 4K too. All the parts are housed inside the Montech King 95 Pro case, a stunning dual-chamber model with a whopping six fans. AMD's Ryzen 5 9600X is the brains of the Pro GeekaPC build. This Ryzen 9000 option builds upon the success of previous generations' Ryzen 5 7600X by offering better efficiency, resulting in lower temperatures and higher clock speeds. Its low-power budget allows the Ryzen 5 9600X to maintain its 5.4GHz boost speed, giving it an edge in modern games.

The Montech HyperFlow ARGB 360 ensures the Ryzen 5 9600X remains cool. This 360mm liquid cooling unit is equipped with three 120mm fans, which push cool air through the radiator. Each fan lights up with vibrant RGB, and the CPU pump block can be synced with various RGB software.

The Montech King 95 Pro houses all of the parts in this PC build. It is the larger sibling of the King 65 Pro, which features in our GeekaPC 'King' system. This case is a firm favourite on the GeekaWhat YouTube channel due to its stunning design, excellent build quality, and pre-installed fans. It features dual tempered glass panels, an unhindered window into the build, and several tool-less mechanisms to simplify assembly.

For RAM, this build uses a reliable Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR5 kit, offering great latency and speeds. Those looking to provide more oomph for their build can increase the RAM capacity from 32GB to 64GB.



Regarding storage, the Lexar NQ790/EQ790 has made a return. This is one of our favourite Gen4 NVMe M.2 SSDs, offering solid read and write speeds. The base configuration of the Pro PC comes with a 1TB drive, but this can be increased to 2TB and 4TB for those who need a bit more space for their favourite games.

Lastly, powering this build is the Corsair RM750e power supply. This is a 750W unit, and it features a fully modular cabling system and 80 Plus Gold efficiency, ensuring minimal power is lost as additional heat or noise.

The AMD Ryzen 5 9600X is a fantastic CPU for 1440p and 4K gaming when paired with the right GPU. With refinements to the AM5 platform, the Ryzen 5 9600X offers better efficiency, thermals and clock speeds compared to the previous generation Ryzen 5 7600X.

CPU Cooler: Montech HyperFlow 360mm
This AIO (all-in-one) is more than capable of handling the temperatures of the Ryzen 5 9600X, and it offers plenty of customisable RGB lighting, which can be configured within a range of software.

Motherboard: Gigabyte B850 Eagle WiFi6E
With strong connectivity, on-board WiFi and AMD EXPO support the B850 Eagle WiFi6E remains a firm favourite in our builds.

RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR5 RGB
Corsair's range of RAM DIMMs provides a great option for builds powered by a TeamRed CPU. They offer better compatibility, reliability, and gorgeous RGB lighting. ❗Due to global supply shortages, all 64GB RAM variants will now ship with non-RGB RAM kits.

SSD: Lexar NQ790/EQ790
Both of these Lexar drives are excellent additions to any system. Read and write speeds surpassing 5 Gigabytes per second, they're reliable and resilient for high-framerate gaming!

GPU (Option 1): AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT

NVIDIA's RTX 5070 Ti is an excellent graphics card for 1440p and 4K gaming. It offers solid framerates across many titles, which can be further bolstered in DLSS-supported games.

GPU (Option 3): NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080
The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 is a solid graphics card for those playing their favourite titles at 4K with ray tracing switched on. With the bonus addition of DLSS and Frame Gen, playing your favourite games at high framerates is a breeze!
