The GeekaPC 'Snow' Gaming PC is aimed at gamers looking for a powerful gaming PC for 1440p and 4K resolutions. This build provides excellent performance across a range of titles at this higher resolution and is packed with power from its choice of NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER or AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT graphics cards.
Our CPU of choice for this Snow PC build is the AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D. Thanks to AMD's proprietary 3D V-Cache, this is one of the fastest gaming processors on the market. The Ryzen 7 7800X3D has eight cores and sixteen threads, which is more than enough to handle plenty of running applications. Additionally, this CPU has a boost clock speed of 5GHz, giving it the edge in modern games.
The Phanteks Glacier 360D30 ensures the Ryzen 7 7800X3D maintains low temperatures. This 360mm liquid CPU cooler has three 120mm Phanteks D30 white fans. The lighting is fully addressable, and each fan is magnetised, making it very easy to install or disassemble.
The whole build is housed inside the Phanteks NV5, a case that won the GeekaWhat Award for its stunning looks, fantastic build quality, and fish-tank-style wraparound glass panels. The NV5 is incredibly popular and a solid case for various build configurations. It features an RGB strip on the PSU shroud, which hides all of the cabling, and its tempered glass side and front panels provide an unhindered view of all the components inside.
As this chassis doesn't come equipped with fans, we've also decided to fill out the Snow PC with additional Phanteks D30 fans, providing more airflow while keeping the sleek white theme of the build.
The GeekaPC Snow's base configuration features 32GB of G.Skill DDR5 white RGB RAM. Alternatively, those looking to beef up this system a bit more can choose the 64GB option.
Regarding storage, we've chosen the Samsung 990 Pro, one of the strongest Gen4 SSDs on the market. Gamers can choose between 1TB, 2TB and 4TB, which is more than enough storage for plenty of games and applications.
Finally, the Corsair RM850 powers all of the parts in this build. Supplying 850W of power, it offers an 80 Plus Gold efficiency rating and a fully modular cabling system, simplifying cable management.
This build is based directly on a system James recommended on the GeekaWhat YouTube channel, and you can view the full build video below.
