Specifications

The GeekaPC 'Panorama' is aimed at those looking for entry-level 1440p gaming. It offers the choice of either an AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT or NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 graphics card. This build is perfectly tuned for playing the latest AAA titles and older titles while looking great.

The CPU we've picked out for the Panorama GeekaPC is a firm favourite on the GeekaWhat YouTube channel: the AMD Ryzen 5 7600. This CPU is a great gaming processor with a 5.1GHz boost clock speed, six cores, and eight threads. Its low power budget allows it to sustain its boost clock, making it a competitive processor when paired with the right graphics card.

The Vetroo V5 keeps the AMD Ryzen 5 7600 nice and cool. This single-tower air cooler is built to offer strong thermal performance at a competitive price. It comes with an addressable RGB fan and is very simple to install.

Built inside a Black Phanteks NV5, the build provides a panoramic view within a well-built chassis that provides solid hardware clearance and compatibility without a huge footprint. The build has an NZXT 360mm fan unit at the side for intake and a single 120mm RGB unit at the rear for exhaust, ensuring ample airflow.

Gamers have plenty of choice for RAM and storage. The RAM kit is a Corsair Vengeance DDR5 EXPO memory, colour-matched to the rest of the system. It comes in a 32GB or 64GB configuration. The storage is a Crucial P3 Plus Gen4 NVMe SSD. For those who need more storage space, you can choose between 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB capacities.

The last part providing power for all of the parts in this Panorama PC build is the Corsair RM750e. Offering 750W of power with an 80 Plus Gold efficiency rating, the Corsair RM750e is a reliable and solid unit that provides juice for the components we've picked out.

This build is based directly off a system James recommended on the GeekaWhat YouTube channel, and you can view the full build video below. In the video, James shows how this system is built, the things he likes about the build, and covers the things he doesn't like so much in the build process. We highly recommend watching the video below before buying:

*Note: GPU model shown in the video and attached photos is the Gigabyte AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT. This system will ship with any available black graphics card that matches the model selected from NVIDIA or AMD. GeekaPC reserves the right to use any model of RTX 4070 or RX 7800 XT that meets the criteria above, depending on availability.

CPU (Processor): AMD Ryzen 5 7600
The AMD Ryzen 5 7600 is a fantastic CPU when it comes to gaming at 1080p and 1440p. The reason we did not opt for the newer Ryzen 5 9600X instead is due to the limited performance upside

CPU Cooler: Vetroo V5
The advantage of AMD's efficient and cool-running Ryzen 5 is that a simple tower air cooler will be perfectly sufficient to keep temperatures under control.

Motherboard: Gigabyte B650 Eagle AX
With strong connectivity, on-board WiFi and AMD EXPO support the B650 Eagle AX remains a firm favourite in our builds.

RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR5 AMD EXPO
Corsair's range of EXPO-supporting RAM dimms provide a great option for builds powered by a TeamRed CPU, with better compatibility, reliability and the right EXPO presents needed for tip-top speeds.

SSD: Crucial P3 Plus
The Crucial P3 Plus is a firm favourite over on the GeekaWhat YouTube channel, with fast Gen4 NVMe speeds and a range of capacitites available.

GPU (Option 1): AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT
The RX 7800 XT holds its own as a fantastic GPU for 1440p gaming. With 16GB of video memory. and great frame rates across the board.

GPU (Option 2): NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070
Buyer's in the market for a NVIDIA GPU for this build should lok no further than the RTX 4070. With great Ray Tracing performance, support for the latest DLSS 3.5 and more - what's not to love!

Case: Phanteks NV5 Black
What is there to say about the Phanteks NV5? It won the GeekaWhat Design award, looks superb and is a great case from a build, compatibility and IO standpoint.

PSU: Corsair RM750(e)
For a build like this, a strong 750(e) unit is perfect when it comes to power. The RM750 from Corsair is one of the best reviewed around.

Operating System: Windows 11
All of our systems come preinstalled with an activated copy of Windows 11 set to the 'Out of Box Experience'. This allows you to set the PC back up to your liking.
